This year, AAUW-RSP will award many, one-time $1,000 scholarships to South Placer high school senior girls.

​

 


Applicant must be a graduating, high school senior girl from Western Placer School District, Roseville High School District, or Rocklin High School District with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who will be attending a two or four -year college.

How to Apply

To apply for one of these scholarships, please complete the 2023-2024 High School Scholarship Application and compile the following supporting material:

  • High School Transcript showing GPA

  • 3 Letters of Recommendation

  • One-Page Essay (Topic: How I Plan on Being a Leader of Women After College)

  •  At least one Financial Statement (FAFSA)

Eleven $1,000 - High School Scholarships Given

Lynn Cook – High School Scholarships Chair

Five Girls in Roseville School District were awarded scholarships, two from Antelope High School, two from Oak Creek High School and one from Roseville High School. Permission was not given to reveal names. Two girls are 1 st generation college students. These girls will attend the following colleges: UC Irvine, UC Davis, UCLA, Sierra College, and American River College. One scholarship was awarded to a girl from Rocklin High School. She will attend Azusa Pacific College. Five girls from Lincoln High received scholarships. Two girls are 1st generation college students. The colleges they will attend: UC Riverside, University of Nevada, Sierra College, Sacramento State and Arizona State.
