Dr. Bourke’s presentation will begin at 7:00 pm and be followed by a period of question and answers.Â
About Dr. Bourke:
Juliet is currently a Professor of Practice in the School of Management and Governance, UNSW Business School, UNSW Sydney, sits on a number of boards and consults to executive teams and boards on people & culture strategy and transformation. Previously an executive, she has over 25 years' executive experience as a lawyer, founder and Management Consultant. For the first ten years, Juliet worked as a lawyer in (Australian) State and Federal Governments in the areas of criminal and employment law. For the second third, she co-founded and was the Office Managing Partner for Aequus Partners, a boutique consulting firm. For the last ten years, having sold Aequus Partners to Deloitte, she was a Partner in Deloitte responsible for the growth, financial management and leadership of the Diversity and Inclusion practice area in Human Capital, and global thought leader.
Juliet has received numerous accolades for her research, writing and contribution to public policy including most recently as one of HR’s 2021 top 100 influencers globally by Engagedly Inc, and in 2019 by the Australian  Financial Review as one of Australia’s top 100 Women of Influence. She is a TEDx speaker and a prolific writer, with publications in the Harvard Business Review, The Guardian and the Huffington Post. Her latest book, entitled Which two heads are better than one? The extraordinary power of diversity of thinking and inclusive leadership, is now in its second edition (2021 AICD).Â
Juliet holds a BA (Major: Psychology) (UNSW), LLB (UNSW), LLM (Hons) (USYD) and is a final year PhD candidate at Brunel University London (School of Business).
