About the Event
This year, the Roseville-South Placer branch of AAUW is celebrating their 55th anniversary!
Over the past fifty-five years, our branch helped hundred of local women and girls further their education goals thanks largely to the hard work and generosity of our many members. To recognize that incredible impact, we are bringing together our past and present members for an evening of celebration. In addition to a wonderful meal and time together, we will honor those who have been with AAUW for 50 or more years for their impressive dedication to our cause and recognize our 5 to 40 year members for their ongoing support.
Julie Hirota will be our guest speaker. Hirota is an accomplished business executive and CEO for Saint John’s Program for Real Change. She has more than 25 years of extensive leadership and operational experience in private, public, and non-profit sectors driving meaningful outcomes. Hirota’s extensive career experience includes: advocacy, fundraising, finance, community relations, and managing multi-million dollar operations.
Dinner includes... assorted hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, a signature vinaigrette salad, an entree of your choice (chicken cordon bleu, braised beef short ribs or portobello polenta stack) and assorted desserts. No host bar.
