Board Meetings for 2008-2009 will be held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at Raley's Event Center in Lincoln on Highway 65.

Outgoing Presidents’ Message:
Susan Hall highlighted branch accomplishments for this year:
- Growth of membership to almost 230 members, increase in neighborhood groups and interest groups.
- Increased Communication including new brochures and bookmarks for marketing.
- Successful individual Fundraising Programs to fund our branch projects.
- Commemoration of our 40th year with our Charter Members in March.
- Collaboration with Sierra College including sustainability.
Susan (and Joan) went on to thank the board members for their service. Nicholle Sanford helped passed out thank you gifts to the 2007-8 board members. Nicholle chose the winning check for the membership check drawing. Bev Collins’s check was drawn and she received the gift basket.

Treasurer:
Sandi Roullier was recognized for her extraordinary contribution as branch treasurer from 1984 to the present. Eleanor Allen presented Sandi with a gift of an AAUW bracelet made by Sue Miller.
EF Honorees:
Susan presented (for Joan Mackey, absent due to an injury) the two honorees of the Educational Fund (EF) award. Our branch donates into the Eleanor Roosevelt fund for teachers.
The honorees this year are Carol Powell 
Carol Powell is a past president of our branch and has served as Public Policy Chair for the last three years.
